Whole body vibration is the new way to reduce obesity, New Research revealed

A recent research conducted at Augusta University by Meghan E. McGee-Lawrence, Ph.D. (the first author), proposed that Whole Body Vibration (WBV) can be equally effective as any cardiovascular exercise or workout. In fact, Lawrence argued that WBV can combat the negative harmful effects of diabetes and obesity. WBV was experimented on two groups of 5week old male mice- one group entailed normal mice and the other have been genetically unresponsive to leptin, the hormone promoting feelings of fullness post-eating. Each group of mice was assigned to WBV or treadmill conditions. After a long period of time, both groups demonstrated similar metabolic benefits with both WBV, and workout on the treadmill.
