Get Ready to Debate on 2016 Presidential Election

University of Duke has inaugurated a year-long digital media project which will involve and would give platform for community’s conversations about the 2016 presidential election. The program would encompass activities pertaining to Congressional, state and local contests. T


This project is knows as Campaign Stop 2016, and it is launched in form of a website. The highlights of the project are:


  • The project would invite faculty, student and alumni to raise their voices on various issues until the day of election arrives in 2016.

  • The website will be continuously updated with interesting updates, contests, debates, podcasts, social media events, video sharing

  • These events will be organized on website as well as the campus of Duke Washington DC.

  • One of the most interesting features of this program is that a podcast series by the name of “Glad you asked” will have numerous topics suggested by the professors. These topics will be directed at the candidates of the election so they can provide a way forward for such doubts and issues.
